Returns Policy

To qualify to return an item under this Policy, Products must be in their original packaging, along with all included accessories, be in new condition suitable for resale, and must not be damaged or modified in any way by the customer during the time the item is in the customer’s possession. Please see Our below warranty terms and conditions in relation to Warranty and Care Plan claims.

All our downlights (BTD04 Series) are 24 months warranty, and commercial products (High bays, flood lights, panel lights, led battens, ect…) are 18 months warranty from the date of purchase.

BERDIS LIGHTING PTY LTD IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION COST IF THE WARRANTY CLAIM OCCURS.

 

Please read below for an overview of our Return Policy.

 

For customer “Change Their Mind” and wish to return the item they have received:

  • Need to notify us within 14 days of receiving the item
  • The item must not be opened or damaged (We acknowledge the external box may have been opened for visual inspection, but nothing else must be opened or used)
  • Berdis Lighting Pty Ltd is not responsible for the “Buyer Changed Their Mind” return shipping cost, which means, buyer needs to take care of the return action themselves
  • 5% of the total payment will be deducted from the returned payment for dispatching charge

For defective item within the warranty period, the return will be processed under below return procedure:

  1. Sent us a message with description of the issue and clear pictures, ( if photo is necessary to prove that the item is faulty)
  2. Send us the claimed faulty item under buyers’ cost
  3. Once we receive the returned item, we will provide replacement or refund according to customer’s request after an inspection on returned item.

Defective Returns on all products within 14 days of receipt:

  • If an item fails to work properly within the first 14 days of receipt, please email or call us.
  • We will process a partial refund for the returned postage fee.
  • Once the item is received we will determine if it can be repaired or needs replacement.
  • Please note that the item must be packaged properly for shipping to avoid damage.
  • Items received in damaged condition, smashed or modified in any way will void the warranty.
  • Please check item description for the warranty period.

Defective Returns on all products after 14 days of receipt:

  • If an item (other than a lamp/bulb) fails to work properly after the first 14 days of receipt, please call or email us.
  • The customer is responsible for the return postage fee.
  • Once the item is received we will determine if it can be repaired or needs replacement.
  • Please note that the item must be packaged properly for shipping to avoid damage.
  • Items received damaged condition, smashed or modified in any way will void the warranty.
  • Please check item description for the warranty period.

Warranty

  • Residential products come with two year warranty, commercial /industrial products (office, shops, factory etc….) are covered by one year warranty, unless otherwise stated.

Warranty will be void if there is any modification on the products, such as hard wiring.
